Board of Directors
Board of Directors is the supreme body of the Association. It consists of the statutory representatives of all members or authorised representatives entrusted by them in a written form. As a rule meetings of the Board of Directors are summoned four times a year.
The members are invited to the meeting by an invitation letter comprising an agenda sent to the members of the Association in the frame of regularly submitted information (see below).
Board of Directors on its meetings usually:
- considers information and working papers submitted for discussion and makes a decision about a factual direction of future activities and the way how to apply the results achieved,
- votes a chairman and vicechairmen into their offices and revokes them and appoints a secretary general,
- approves the activity plan of the Association,
- approves the annual budget of the Association and a yearly rate of the payment of the member organizations intended for its activities,
- makes decision about establishment or cancellation of working teams and sets out instructions for their activity,
- makes decision about an enrollment of new members or cessation of their membership,
- approves procedural rules and Memorandum of the Association.
Each meeting of the Board of Directors is accompanied with a record and resolutions sent to the members of the Association in the frame of Information provided.
Information for members of the Association
Since the fourth quarter 2006 the members are provided with information electronically by means of protected reference at www web sites at least once a month. The information contains in particular the following information and documents (briefs) dealing with:
- meetings of the Association bodies and the activities of the Association,
- discussions that were carried out,
- the activities of cooperating bodies and organizations,
- events being prepared or implemented,
- drafts of legal regulations,
- information retrieval from transport bulletins and Colllection of Laws,
- choice of the published papers,
- other important information.
